Rovina Mae Agad

Rovina Mae Agad is the operations lead at the early-stage venture capital firm Plain Sight Capital and the chief operating officer of the venture studio Coded by: Ventures. Rovina was formerly the chief of staff to the CEO at the tech and startup education organization Coded by. Joining the Coded by team was her introduction to the tech and startup space, but she quickly established a strong foundation in understanding what goes into building a successful tech startup. As chief of staff, she oversaw a diverse portfolio of work that included a significant number of UX research and service design projects. Over time, she was able to carve out a hybrid role focusing more and more on UX research, service design, and product management. She eventually became the director of service operations, overseeing all aspects of Coded by’s services, including product management, user research, and service design. When the CEO of Coded by became a co-founder and managing partner of Plain Sight Capital, he brought her on as the firm's operations lead. As the firm's operations lead, she supports and manages operational functions ranging from investor relations to portfolio company support. When Coded by launched a venture studio, Rovina became its chief operating officer (COO). As COO, she combined the understanding of venture firm operations, early-stage startups, assessing founders, and early validation she gained from Plain Sight Capital and Coded by to drive the creation of venture-backed tech startups.
